The windows button

    sorry, didn't know where I should put this one, but can anyone tell me how to turn off the "start menu" button that has the window's logo on it? it's been driving me nuts as of late. Thanks for the help. :cool:

    Curious do you mean the one of the windows desktop as mentioned in post above OR do you mean the one on your keyboard ( between ctrl & alt ) as you posted this in hardware section?

    if the keyboard WinKey then some keyboards in their properties give an option to disable or re-allocate keys to other functions or you can turn it off by adding a new registry key to disable it BUT depends if you want to edit the registry or not?
