I downloaded Sygate last week. It seems to be working well.

I liked Sygate, but hated the nag screen every reboot.

I use to have Zone Alarm but it use to slow my system down at times for some reason. I've been running Sygate for about 2 yrs now,no problems,I love it.

I will have to go with the crowd and vote for Sygate. I've used it for approx. a year and have had no problems, since swapping from ZoneAlarm. I don't get the nag screen that Adrynalyne mentioned because I registered it, after downloading. ;)

Yep, Agnitum Outpost is by far the best software firewall and certainly uses the least resources.

I used ZoneAlarm for about 3 years. I recentle switched over to Sygate and like it better  They are both good firewalls, but I have to go with Sygate because of personal preference :)

    Sygate Here.
I once used Zone alarm version 4.5, after the newer versions, I found I like Sygate much better.

If using XP & sp2, I got no problems using it's built in firewall. (Note! only run one software firewall)
I'm also behind Hardware firewall, built in my router.

I have several PC's never had any big problems using any firewall, Tryed a bunch, seem's to be matter of taste.
