Thin yellow line on screen

    I am a first time poster so please help. I have a thin yellow line down the middle of my laptop screen. I am using a Dell Inspiron 9200 and the line just appeared today out of nowhere. Help, what should I do to get rid of it?

    The two major causes of such an event are:
    1) Bad drivers
    2) Bad screen <-- more likely of the two

    It happened to me too, but only when I ran certain programs, never did understand it. But when I reformated, it was fine.
