Things To Do...

Many of my friends live in the country which they love regardless how tough times get. Always love visiting, but I feel lucky living on the eastern coast close to beaches and Sydney Harbour and a couple of hours away from our lovely Blue Mountains (a train ride).

Caught some outdoor shows like this one with Sydney Harbour as a backdrop - lucky to have a perfect evening with no wind and not a cloud:
With weather now getting cooler, it's the perfect time for those bush walks along the coast or up the mountains. A friend being more energetic than me has taken on the task of doing the coastal walks - "Medium Level" averaging a fast paced 15km a day and moving into higher levels as she goes along.

Me, I prefer to do it at a leisurely pace, so I'm happy to do my 10km Spit Bridge to Manly Walk - preferably alone - but take a friend along whenever they're interested in joining me - pass some lovely scenes like this:

Half way along, you catch this view with Fort Denison in the foreground: Then having a nice lunch at Manly Beach. Good day out - with a free community bus home later​

With weather getting cooler, I'm looking forward to visiting our Blue Mountains and checking out their walks.

Best thing about these outings, is it's free - just pack a lunch and enjoy the walk.​
