think pad T520

    I bought a think pad at a garage sale real good deal the kid forgot his password HELP
    I tried to boot up in safe mode but no go is there any way to get in and fix this with out reinstalling windows? It has windows 7 on it ........:cry

    Goldenskull I can't follow the rules

    Is this the password to the Bios or is it too windows.

    Bios Password is all most impossible to crack

    Windows password - you need to setup a password recovery disk to windows and that will change the password.

    Bios Password - impossible to crack but you can try and remove the cmos battery to see if that resets all bios to default and take off the password if not im sorry you won't beable to get in to bios or boot up past bios.
