I had a computer built from me from ibuypower.com, and when I had it built the SSD's were alot more expensive then they are now. Now that the prices have dropped alot, and can now fit one in by budget, If i order one, and plac it in my current rig, would I need to buy another copy of Win 7 or would I be able to xfer the OS from my HDD to the SSD?

Theoretically, you should be able to image the hd to the ssd BUT it is not as straight forward as it sounds. I've read quite a few posts where people were having trouble getting this to work.
You might want to do some googling and reading about imaging or cloning from a he to an ssd. You might decide it is not worth the headache.

I cloned my hard drive to my SSD w/o any issues a few months ago (used Acronis True Image).

Nice speedy bootup now. 11 seconds from pressing power button to functioning desktop.
