i have a compaq persario 6350ca , anyway it has 80gb harddrive and i though it would be enough but it isnt my c drive is getting full and my other drives are about half full (i got C , E , D , F ,G drives) . So anyway im thinking of getting maybe like a 200gb hardrive (around there) . would i be able to buy one , install it with out anyproblemes with any other part of my computer?

2- i have lots of music , picture , documents etc.... that i wouldnt like to throw aways. So what would u consider i do , to save them and transfer them to the new harddrive??? taking in mind some of the file are big.

Yes you can add another HDD if you have IDE port avaible.
Most mobo's have two IDE channels which you can connect up to 4 drives, HDD/CD/DVD any combination, each channel would have a master and a slave drive.
Some & most of the newer Mobo's also have SATA channels, inwhich you can add additional HDD's
You should have the HDD's on the primary IDE channel one set to master and the other set to slave.
If your IDE channels are full you can go to external HDD for storage.
Or add pci card for additional drives.

you might just add the HDD as slave ... then using it just for your music, pictures, documents etc etc ... unless your present hdd is 5400rpms or slower
