This device cannot start. (code 10)

I recently installed a new dvd rw drive. It took a while to get it to work, and it soon did. After ten minutes, it continued to work as usual, but i needed to restart my computer. When it started up again, my wireless network adapter no longer worked. I looked in device manager and saw the error message, "this device cannot start. (code 10)". Then I reinstalled the driver, and upgraded the bios, and I still got the same error message.
Please help me.

Are you up to date on your firmware revisions for the new drive and the network adaptor?? I got a new dvd burner, and the day I installed, I did a little research and found that my firmware in the new burner was about 3 revisions old!! Sp naturally...I downloaded and updated all of my hardwares firmware!!!!

incase you didn't know...Firmware is the programming that is on the microchips that are embedded into the actual hardware device...and occasionally the manufacturer will release a bew revision for download, in order to fix bugs that have been discovered after the product is put on the market...or to fix new compatibility issues, or even in the case of speeding up your wireless router, etc.!! Same concept as updating your bios!!!!

Well, the problem fixed itself somehow.
My sound card stopped working, then I opened my comp and jiggled the pci card. Then I started up the computer and it didnt work. Then I restarted it again, and it worked... weird.
