This Freaken Webcam

Ok... so here is the problem... I hope one of you guys can help me... so I bought this webcam, is a Creative Live Ultra... so I brought it home and installed all the drivers and that program that comes with it, and pluged in the cam and it worked... it was fine for about a couple of hours, then suddenly the screen went black, and now when I try to start it.. everything seems to be ok, I mean there is no error message or anything, the only problem is that the cam just wont pick up images, it just shows a black screen, Ive tried reinstalling the drivers about 3 times and I still have the problem also my older cam works fine... I am running windows xp home... I dont know what else to say... so if any of you can think of anything please let me know. Thanks.

 

Is the Freaken Webcam under warranty? I think I'd return or exchange it.
