We recently got in like 50 new imported beers. This one is a Scottish Heather Ale. Fraoch. According to the label, Heather beers have been made since 2000 BC! This my kind of ale. Made partly from flowers. :-D

    Good stuff. http://greatbrewers.com/product/fraoch-heather-ale

Not a Lambic, but dang tasty little beer. :wine Good stuff, try one if you can find it.

Mmm, that brings back memories Fred - not from as far back as 2000BC though, more like 2000AD; not sure I really liked it back then, I might try to track some more down and give it another try or five :wine

We have the Old Speckled Hen. I will give it a try. I was very disappointed in the Bass and Newcastle, I just had given up on English beer. ;)

As far at the beers we stock, well, ales and lagers. :-D:-D All joking aside, we carry some Belgium beer, German, Mexican, some of the smaller American craft brewaries (that are licensed to sell in Louisiana), Lambics :drool, and your basic Bud, Miller and such. Oh, and some Lebanese beer, and a few from China, even have one from Tibet. Not a bad selection for a city the size of this one.
