Well, I cleaned it up lubed it, and my old 1990's old school mt bike will be ridden Sunday. A good friend of mine took the plunge and bought a bike today, so mine is out of the mothballs and will get ridden soon. I will either get my current bike fixed up, or buy a new one myself. Lot's of fun to tweak things that are not MGHz!

Just a driveby post by Fred. They happen. ;)

Been there and done that with the MGHurts!

Several years ago my chain broke on my bike, somehow, I got tossed over the handlebars and on to the pavement. I still can't figure out the physics of that! But my right arm was not right for a long time!

I love bike riding though. Once I get back into shape, it is like therapy. Scrapes, bruises, all just trail tattoos... :-D

I am so excited I finally got myself back to riding! In a couple of months, I should have some photos of the trails. :-D

Try this one Fred, a friend finished this one last year Hotter 'n Hell, right next door to you in TX, though it is late in the game to start training for that.

I am not quite up for a Century Augie! You trying to give me a heart attack before I can take over your country? :-D

I have ridden 40 miles in one day a long time ago. The HHH is not out of question for this year, but it is just a possibility.

Hehehe.:p Here's a place that the same friend liked for a 'relaxing' ride, also in TX and has some pics elsewhere.;) Crappy website but it gives you an idea of what you could expect.:)

LOL, I just remembered to post the site, not the pics, but the trail. http://rockyhillranch.net/rhr/TrailDescriptions.html

It was a nice ride. Lot's of fun, but the bike needs work! ;) I will drop off my bike to my local bike shop for some well deserved TLC.

New tires, new stem, new seat post, new bars, it is all good. :-D

I am out stimulating the economy!

Good that you had fun riding your bike. Now why not just picking one of these? LOL: EDIT: Darn it the second one is supposed to be moving 'cause it's a gif.

Yeah, I know and remember what it looks like outside any train station there. The first pic I chose (in Google) was from the city I was born and raised in. The city has many bicycle pathways alongside the roads, although mopeds must outnumber the bicycles for decades now. It's the fastest way to go.
