This is Marvin....?

Say hello to the paranoid android as the new movie would have him.

Maybe he'll grow on me...

 

Yuck. Marvin will forever be the voice from the BBC radio production, and he sure don't fit that voice.

 

I am led to believe that Alan Rickman (Professor Snape) will provide the voice.

That could work, although I too would have preferred the original.

I have to admit he does a pretty good job of looking dejected in this concept art pic.

Damn it all, I have to get to like him... It will ruin the movie for me if I don't.

They look like something from "West Coast Choppers"
Look hell, they actually have thier logo's on them and a 4" back tire with a center stand, frikken S.O.B.'s

 

It opens the day after my birthday. Would be nice it it was worth going to see.

 

Apparently John Malkovich is in there, in a part created for him by Adams when he was writing the screenplay. I would wish they wouldn't do that, except Adams did it, and it's his concept.

No, we're talking Marvin the Paranoid Android from "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy", but good call! It's easy to see where they might have taken some of their inspiration from.

 

The next question is, am I too old to take a towel to the movies?

We didnt get that where I live, at least not on broadcast, maybe cable

 

It started life as a BBC radio play, became a book(or 5) and a tv show(and a game or two) and now they are making it into a movie, to be released on May 06 of this year.

Disney are making it. I'm a little nervous, but keeping an open mind.

 

Disney,yikes, hope they don't disappoint you too much.
But you can count on them too go for the money not the die hard fans.
