This weekend it is a preview event of the next chapter in the game I'm playing, and my boyfriend and my nephew both created new characters that they hadn't seen before...

So does he(B/F) look like Teal'c too? Teal'c has a bit wider face, but the resemblence is there, for sure.

Sounds like fun games. I think the reason why I'm so stuck in GW is because of the social aspect. Most of my friends are scattered all over the world, and with most of them playing, I can "see" them almost every day, and do something fun together with them. Since I can't come over Saturday night with a bottle of wine and spend the evening playing boardgames and watching movies with them, this is a good substitute! And it is great fun to hook up on teamspeak with the people I know so well, but can't meet more than once or twice a year, and actually hear them, laugh together and play. It is quite time consuming though, so I haven't played much else in the last year or so...

It is Guildwars, an online RPG. Best thing about it, no fees, once you have the game, no more expenses!

 

Hmmm, looks like pretty nice graphics, there. I may have to check that one out, LoL!

I've liked the ol' Settlers 2 from years back (they’ve improved it heaps since then, though). And the Age of Pirates - Caribbean Tales looks pretty groovy. I’m still learning that one. For something a bit different CSI - 3 Dimensions of Murder is not bad. You can be the C.S.I. dude (or dudette), and solve a murder, eh. Not that I really have much time to spend on them.

Kodo, you must be having those candy cane and redhead fetish withdrawals again. I told you not stop those therapy sessions.

I never knew anyone liked Stargate.... except me....

 

Stargate is great, unfortunately, this might be the last season.

I own GW also, but having played in 8 months. It was a graphically stunning game to play. But, I'm more of a single player type of player than a group person. The game got to hard to play single player, so I quit.

those screenies definitely dont do the game justice, she must be running it on low or sumthin cause it looks like crapola compared to when i play.

 

I'm long over due for a hardware update... With an 1133 MHz Athlon, and one of the weaker nVidia 128 MB cards, I've had to turn everything down to the lowest, crappiest textures, no shadows, no reflections etc, and run it in 1024x768 instead of my normal screen size.

It runs well, turned down like that!

Still looks great, even when turned down that much.

I think that is indeed why the moon is drooling, lol. I love Guildwars, but haven't played it much since the kids went and got married and stuff (my guild kinda moved away for the most part - the rest are all into WOW now). I also like the fact there are no fees once you buy the game itself (unlike WoW).
