I was doing some googling on hard drive failure (specifically head crashes) and found this:

lol sucks for him though sounds almost like it over heated and started melting silicone causeing electric spark that may have temperarly super charged the magnetic dust wipping the thing clean! but what do i know i havnt had much experience with hardware rofl!

and calling it a death star makes it sound like darth vader works at IBM!!!!
