I was wanting to download some software that advised that you make a backup copy of your hard drive before you use the software. I know that I could do this on a CD, etc... But my question is, since I have GoBack already installed on my computer, would I still need to make a backup copy on an external media?
    Thanks,
    Debm

It might be a good idea to back up documents you want to keep. You should be doing that on a regular basis anyway, right? ;)

In order for GoBack to work, I believe you have to create a "restore point" to "go back" to. Plus have enough space to store it. If that makes sense to you.

    Good Luck.

debm, "they" always recommend backing up before you load any new software. It covers their a*se:) in case their program, or you, stuff up your computer. Saves "them" from being sued, or more accurately, gives them a possible out if they are sued.

Most of us ignore the warning, think we know better, :D or don't bother to read the EULA or fine print. We all get caught eventually by some program that bites us.:p

Always back up regularly, anyhow. We all do that, don't we. Bazza
