This new RAM

    I am running a 3.2g p4, 2gig ram, asus p5gd1, ati x800 xl...
    Whenever I run a game I get serious performance issues. I can only get a smooth framerate in 800x600x16. The only thing I can suspect is my ram, because its really cheap ram (pc2700). Could a bunch of shitty ram be a bottleneck?

    2 meg is still 2 meg no matter how crap it is. what kind of graphics card do you have it probably is that.

    Try updating drivers.
    And All ram is not the same but it wont be a huge difference between different rams.

    I am on an ATI Radeon X800 XL 256mb PCI- E. It is an awsome card, I need some help with this i cannot figure out what it could be. No viruses on this computer.

    update drivers if you havent, and try updating otherstuff too
