This Page Says: Trojan Virus

    I just had a page pop up in Google Chrome saying that I may have a Trojan Virus and to call +1 (855) 628-1810 (TOLL FREE). It looked like a message from Microsoft. Has anyone else seen this, and does it mean that I have malware in my computer? Or is it legitimate. I will start the malware removal process now.

    Attached is a pop-up that came with the info.

    :) A scam! Do NOT dial that phone number. Microsoft doesn't contact anyone in this manner. And - "Luckily, your firewall managed to block this suspicious connection" would still mean that your protection software is doing its job, right? I personally would ignore the message.

    Okay. I wasn't sure if it meant something had gotten in to make that pop up. But then if they did, I guess they wouldn't need to warn me. I would not call that number no matter what when I have majorgeeks to come to for help;)
