It got to long and cluttered, now going for a 1% thing with descriptions and just a couple choices per category. You can see the older stuff at the bottom as I am removing as I go:

    Thoughts?

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

I like the cleanup idea - the list is going to look less cluttered, more directed. Good job...

I like the short write up for each program. ;)

    All-in-all I like it.
    Very Organized, Categories, descriptions.
    Very Nice MA!

PS: Thank you, I got somewhat lost searching through there the other day. :-D

Looking good. Missing Avast! on the list though although I find it's getting pretty bloated lately.

    I like it.

My only thought is to add a few more catagories: audio editing, video editing, and codec packs.

    The layout is good.
The category headings stand out and are easy to read.
The description and comments for each program is helpful.

In the first paragraph under Optimization Suites, there are two links to articles about Optimization, which are very good
BTW, but those links are not bold and the Color is very close to the background color, so they kind of get lost within
    the rest of the text.
The same is true for the other 'imbeded' links within descriptions.
Maybe you could add a class to those and set a color that has better contrast with the background.

A few things that I think are 'missing':

    Defragment your hard drive
MyDefrag - it is still shown as a MG Pick on the drive utilities page. :confused

    Identify your hardware
    Maybe System Explorer and Speccy

    Get a better Web browser
What? - No Opera - Oh my Goodness!! rolleyes

Protect your computer with a firewall
PC Tools Firewall Plus is still shown as a MG Pick. Version 7.0.0.123 is just under a year old. :confused

    Backup your Important files
EASEUS Todo Backup Free Edition and Macrium Reflect FREE Edition

    Office Tools
PSPad doesn't have all of the features that Notepad++ has, like code folding and 'outlining', but it does have a lot of great
features and is easier to use than Notepad++, IMHO. ;)

Thanks for the help. I will look into the suggestions and make some changes this morning.

Here is my problem. I made the overhaul because it had gotten so long that it really was not helpful anymore. Because of this I had to pick only the cream of the crop. I tried to not go beyond 3 in any category. A second problem is your average geek would never read this, they already have their own opinion or don't agree :) The average PC user on the other hand gets confused by too many choices as you know.

    Thinking BAADD! :-D

I like it, found one or two I am going to try out this weekend. You should put Opera in there.

Sorry, Opera isn't getting on there. Ever. :)
