Thoughts on HP Security tools (Credentials manager)?

My (still new) laptop has the HP security package. So far I really like the fingerprint sensor device since it makes logging into Windows so effortless (just swipe your finger over the sensor instead of typing in a password). However, I'm not so sure about the other features. In particular, the credentials manager is starting to get on my nerves; the part that pops up asking for my password each time I enter a site, email, or anything requiring a user name and password. Is anyone using this? Is the speed okay for you? (I stopped using it because it made logging into my email box etc slower than just using cookies...)
