Thunderbird Address Book Backup

    I'm trying to backup the address book for Thunderbird, and I can't find where it is stored. Can someone tell me the path so I can copy it and paste it for re-installation later? Thanks,

    the folder will be in a hidden location, you'll need to unhide files and folders from Tools > Folder Options > View

    then goto the locations in the link above for the exact location and names of files.



    n.b Eric.. I dont use Thunderbird but searched for this info and noticed the location is a hidden folder in XP, so hope it helps :)

    Hey there, Halo, thanks a bunch, that's exactly what I needed. I'm helping a friend, and yes, folders were hidden, so that made my job really difficult! :)

    It appears the address book can be exported... address book / tools/export
