I use ThunderBird to get my E Mail and it works good.

But now when I Start ThunderBird it asks me Do You Want To Compact Local Folders.
    This will save Disc Space.

I take the Check out of Ask Me Every Time.

And it only has 2. Options.
    Compact and Cancel.

    So I Click Cancel.

But every Time I Start ThunderBird it does the same thing?

Is there some reason why you don't want to compact your e-mail folders and get rid of the deleted messages?

I always Delete my E Mail and Delete my Trash.

What does it want to Compact?

You don't understand how Thunderbird handles messages. When you delete a message, even when you empty the trash folder, the message isn't actually gone. Thunderbird marks it as "deleted" and then doesn't display it. The messages and their attachments are still in the e-mail folders and still taking up disk space. Once they pile up so high, Thunderbird starts prompting you to compact the folders, which removes all of the "dead wood".

    Thanks for all the help.

    So let me Ask this?

Is there anyway for me to Delete an E Mail and have it Delete it from my Folders?

I have ThunderBird Setup that if I Delete an E Mail it will Delete it from my ComCast Server as well.
And Yes I know nothing is Realy Deleted but for us it should not be in any of the Folders.

Is there any way for me to Delete E Mails from ThunderBirds Folders and not have them stay there Till ThunderBird wants to Delete them?

No, but if you don't want messages stored on your computer don't use an email client, use webmail.

Probably because some cookie that stores your settings is getting deleted each time you close T-bird.
