I have Win7. 64Bit and ThunderBird to get my E Mail.

Now after I open ThunderBird it has a Number 1. next to my InBox.
But if I Click it nothing shows up on the Right Hand Side.
And yes I do get a lot of E Mail every Day so it is working.

But after I Delete all my E Mail it still has a Number 1. next to my InBox.

    Can anybody help?

You appear to have a "phantom" message in your inbox. Give this a try:
    1. Launch Thunderbird.
    2. Right-click on the Inbox folder.
    3. Select "Properties".
    4. Click on "Repair Folder".

I did Log Into my ComCast Account and 1. E Mail was Stuck in my InBox.
So I Deleted it and it Fixed it.

But I Thought I had ThunderBird Setup to Delete the E Mails on my Server and Cpy it to my ThunderBird on my Computer.
But it is not Delete any E Mails on my Server after it Copies them to my Computer.

Can you Tell me if this Setting is in my Server Settings in ThunderBird?
And I think I have the Wrong Setting Checked?

I Hope some one can help?
I know a lot of People do not use ThunderBird.

Are you using POP3 or IMAP?

Are you using POP3 or IMAP? If IMAP then TBird will automatically synchronise your Inbox with the server, so if it's deleted in either it will also be deleted in the other. With POP3 the default is that the first time a message is downloaded by a client somewhere, the message is deleted on the server, but you can override that in TBird by selecting 'Leave a copy on the server'.

Sorry eldon - was typing when you posted, but I'm sure we are both trying to make the same point.

Ok all is working good now.
My ThunderBird and Server are in Sync.

But this is what it use to do.
After I open ThunderBird it gets my E Mail Off of the Server and brings it to my Computer.

So I can Open them and Read them on ThunderBird.
And even if they are in my InBox on ThunderBird they Leave no Copies on my Server.

So say I Open ThunderBird and all my E Mails com Off my Server and are on just my ThunderBird InBox.

I can come back to my ThunderBird InBox any Time to Read my E Mail.
And they are not on my Server at all because ThunderBird got them all.

Is this in my Copies Setting in ThunderBird I can not See it?

The settings you have described are for a POP3 account, not an IMAP account. I haven't used POP3 in ten years or more so cannot tell you where to find the 'keep a copy' button. Maybe someone else will be able to. There is no need for a keep a copy button in IMAP.
