Thunderbird Mail

    I had to Re Install ThunderBird as new and Set it up.

    I am going through all the Settings.
    I go to Tools then Account Settings.

    I can not see anything to Tell it to that if I Delete something I want ThundeBird to Delete it on my Mail Server as well.

    i doubt if anything is ever totally deleted

    If you are using IMAP and delete a message it is deleted on the server. Messages in IMAP accounts are stored on the server, not on your computer. If you are using a POP3 account messages are deleted on the server when you download them but there is an option to leave a copy on the server.

    i got the new thunderbird and it wiped out my accounts-is this what you meant?

    Thunderbird doesn't wipe out email accounts. Care to explain a little more?

    Lots of sites need to be avoided because they include junk and possibly malware in the downloads.

    If you need help finding a safe site to download a program that you can't find at MajorGeeks, someone can probably find a safe site.
