Strange request two of two. My staff keeps it interesting!

This is a request that I've looked at repeatedly over the years. Our staff bickers over what orders got printed when, who was first, who missed the cut-off. They want to have an automated timestamp system that prints the date/time on the the page when it prints.

I've never found a solution in our program, printer settings or print server and would be open to all of those solutions. Also would take a device that stamps it automatically. The most important jobs are on an Okidata dot printer (ML320) on a networked print server.

Maybe a program like this? http://www.beaglesoft.com/doclwin.htm

I don't use this. I use FinePrint and wanted to see if it had the ability to stamp a time on a print job. I didn't find that but it led to the above program.

That's a handy program, I'm going to see if i can make it work. Currently, the program prints from the server (linux) to the network printer without using the local printer. I might be able to configure it differently.
