To anyone with a 7900GS/7800GS

Does anyone have either of these cards, Im looking for an upgrade for my AGP system as my other card just died. Just looking for some input here, personal experiences and performance

 

I have a 7800 gs, which was an upgrade from a 6600, right about the same time i upgrade to visita is when i purchased this card. A fairly good upgrade i thought, and makes vista smooth enough to use, where as my 6600 had trouble with aero interface.

 

how about with games? what are the rest of your specs? im still on XP though

 

Lol, i complelty missed writing out what i was gonna say. I have an amd 2500 barton, running overclocked slighty at 2.1 ghz (from a stock 1.83 ghz) 1 gig pc3200 ram. Counter strike i average about 60 fps, keep in mind thats my vista average, which is gonna be lower then an xp one. Great framerates in most games. Definitly worth the upgrade in my opinon. Also my pc is only limited to agp, and this is probably the last card i will buy for this pc,
