To fax or not to fax???????

I am running Windows XP and am thinking about faxing??

I currently have a cable modem-----------THE QUESTION IS THIS:

Can I set up to fax with my PC without having a phone line hooked up??

Can I send and receive faxes on my PC with a cable modem???

Any information would be appreciated.

yes, this can be done but usually requires a 3rd party service that recieves the fax, processes it and sends it to you via email.
