weather.com says 66, but id argue at least 75. my room is allways the hottest in summer, and coldest in winter. plus, even if the ambient air tempereature is bearable, i have this thing about having to have blanket with some weight over me before i can sleep, so i cant just use a sheet. *sigh* and this is with my window fan howling up a storm.

And Denver is rather mellow compared to most of the southwest. Where I live hot August nights of 85° are not uncommon.

    Hey Dan,

I'm sorry you can't sleep... I am going to try in a few minutes but wanted to pop in and say "hello." Weird... I am the same way about having to have cover when I'm asleep. (A "sheet" won't do it for me either.) I have to keep 70 degrees Fahrenheit or I can't sleep. I thought I was the only one who had this quirk.

Does milk (a cold glass) make you sleepy? It contains Tryptophane (sp?)

    Peace,
    Gina

Temperature usually doesn't drop below the mid 90s this time of year here at night.

A nice glass of Southern Comfort may help as well ;)

    Mmmm...Southern Comfort.

Board is slow for me too.

Alanc, where do you live? I am in Georgia and it normally stays in the lower 90's at night, and humid...

    Peace,

i cant stand the south at night, not even on vacation. wayyyy to hot an humid. the humidity is what drives me insane. sticking to the sheets and such. as for milk? not a big fan. but i am sitting here infront of my big fan, nice and cooling.

Yeah...have you seen the movie, Chronicles of Riddick yet?

    There is a quote:

I can't help but think of AZ every time I hear that, LOL.

Yes, I am in a delta environment and the sheets stick. I hate it too... I hate the taste of milk but it puts me to sleep. Of course, I like Adryn's idea of Southern Comfort much better! LOL! Can you take the fan to bed with you?

Nah, more like one of those "ISP is Cutting Too Many Corners and Screwing Me over" things :(

Small local ISPs apparently are not the way to go for DSL.

I used to work for bellsouth however, several years ago.

I can relate to what you are saying ;)

Yikes! Dialup?? (Oh well, I have to use dialup too when I'm not at home.) My cousin lived in San Francisco before she moved to Denver. California is beautiful!

Well, it's almost 6 AM here and I have to be in the coffin before sunrise, so I'm going to say "goodnight."

Dan, I hope you can sleep. Maybe you'll get tired in here.

    Everyone have sweet dreams! :D

That's the new Vin Diesel flick, right? I saw the first one where they crashed on mars or something and his eyes were radioactive, weird.

My grandparents lived in Phoenix when I was a kid. We went there every summer, so I can relate :D
