Toads

    In the garden this morning and discovered I’ve got a little toad living under a low growing juniper, think its called Pinus Banksiana (the juniper not the toad) with all this very hot weather I was wondering if I should maybe spray the area.:confused

    Hi Tony

    We have had the odd toad or frog in garden too over the years and dont thing putting the sprinkler on will harm it at all, likely toad will be hoppy!

    How do you know the toad is a female? Could be a male....:confused
    Toads eat bugs, so they are good to have in your garden. Nice little guys! They only eat the bad bugs anyway :-D

    yea, they aren't bad guys,,,,,,,but they'll eat,,try to eat anything they think will fit in their mouth; got a couple that come out every evening here in the summer and I've gotta keep the shop door closed. don't want to accidentally trap them inside and have them die on me before I notice.:p
