tobisha satellite 1135-s1554

    I bought my son a used tobisha satellite 1135-s1554 it run's windows xp and i can not connect to the internet.I tried connecting wirelessly and through the modem and all i get is can't connect any help would be great. thank you

    Do you have a wireless router or just a modem? Also, what kind of internet access do you have? cable, dsl, dial up?

    I have both wireless and modem. modem is westell 6100 and a netgear router with verizon dsl.Thank's

    can you see the wireless network you are trying to connect to?

    Have you tried to update to the latest drivers on your wireless and ethernet along with the latest firmware on your router?

    Try and reset your router to factory settings, with no security and see if you are able to connect to your wireless
