You guys are making me hungry, and I've already HAD dinner.

Blues, that kind of cooking should be limited to the summer months when you can leave the windows open. :D

    Pasta Fagiola (quick and easy)
    > Cook 3/4 box of Ditanlini Pasta (set aside)

    > In large pan, heat oil on low-saute one small onion-and two large cloves of garlic.

    >Add three cans of chicken broth(12oz.) and three cans of water

    >Add three cans of Cannanelli Beans(sp?)

    >Add pepper and dried parsely flakes to taste.(You don't need salt, the chicken broth has enough)

    >Add one can of crushed tomatoes(12oz.)

    >Cook on low heat(until it is bubbling slowly) for about 20min.

    >When your ready to serve, Add a small amount of pasta that you have already cooked to a bowl and then add a couple of laddles of the beans and sauce on top. Top off with a a few shakes of Parmesan Cheese.

    >Italian bread is a must-a glass of wine also goes nicely. Salude!

That sounds so delicious, I feel my mouth water as I read! What a perfect meal! You must have been so stuffed after that though! :D

The Portabello Mushrooms Provençal sounds fantastic, I've got to try that!

I agree with eclayton though, I would probably replace the mayo with sour cream in the appetizer! ;) I never liked the taste of mayo. Lol.

I have, on special occasions, been known to create wonders in the kitchen, I thought this could have been a special occasion too! ;)

I've created wonders in the kitchen too, but it wasn't a good thing, nor was it a special occasion! :D

I just finnished a 20hr stint of work at about 11:30 p.m. local time. I'm just about tired and hungry enough to eat the spoon, even a metal one! Too hot and too tuckered out to even contemplate cooking.

Just leave the beans out the back yard for an hour or so, they'll cook - if the flies don't eat 'em first! ;)
