too many startup programs and running processes?

Hi Guys, i think i've got too many startup programs and running process going on. Would any of you care to look if i post?

 

How many do you have ???

They average should be around 30 if you have XP.

 

Hi, I've got 35 running processes. Under Services(in system info) i've got 89 listed , but what i would like is if someone could check what status these items should be "ideally". Under startup programmes(in system info) i've got a list a mile long.
Not sure whether i should be worried or not, in regards to security or pc performance as since loading recommended spy/virus and firewall software programmes are initiating very slowly.

 

you can post it, it would be alot easier to see what you need or dont need in there

I thought i'd got rid of it earlier??? Any way i've removed it now. To do the rest of what you've suggested- just delete in ccleaner or a better way???

 

Thanks guys, i've run ccleaner so i presume the dleted firewall won't be around anymore.
In regards to startups - it's more of a personal choice than definate removals right. If thats the case then i'll probably try CPL and see how things go.

 

Understand. I've unchecked those startups you suggested using CPL. Thanks Mark and Kestrel for all your help. Are you guys part of the "team" or techies????
