Too many tasks running (task manager)

Hey,

I started to clean my PC few days ago, I've defragged my drives etc. One thing I've noticed is that I got way too many tasks running. I have reduced my starting list with regedit program to antivirus software only. Here's a list of what I am running, can somebody tell me which ones are unnecessary? I find it odd that system idle process uses 95% of my cpu.

Obviously Holdempoker, firefox or adobe applications are not the problems. I have 2,4ghz intel cpu with 512mb of RAM memory and plenty of HD space.

Hey, thanks for this! I will have a look at these. I browsed through some programs already but I figured that trial and error is not my method
