I only need to know if having to many tweak apps could damage anything or be counterproductive. I have tweak manager and a host of other internet connection speed ups. I have also done tricks to the computer itself like limiting the bandwidthf rom 20% to 0. I was just wondering if too many is a bad thing?

Yes... and no, I lean towards yes. Backing up your registry is a good idea, but frankly, a tool like X-Setup does most of what you need. Theres rarely a need of using multiple programs. One problem is some may use different settings to tweak the same thing, so you will not know which program set which setting that you like better. Hope that makes sense.

Well it does and doesnt. I am running the tweak xp manager and then i found a deal on speed net about just the speed component and changing the tcp/ip packets. I also changed the limitable bandwidth reserve. Dont know if Tweak is doing same as tcp optimizer but it didnt change mt mtu to 1500 or my msu to 1500 and the optimizer did. Just didnt know if one was working against the other.
