tool bars

When my sister goes to her home page, it only has a very basic tool bar but if I try adding others and other buttons it puts them on the same line all squished up with little arrows to get to the rest of the options. However when I go onto another website its toolbar city! Theres about 4 of them.

I tried changing her homepage to something else that had tool bars but when its set as her home page they all disappear. I cant seem to find an option to sort it out, and it wont let us install the google tool bar although she has windows 2000.

We only want them to go onto 2 lines so its not all squashed, we also had trouble installing a pop up blocker (which was why she wanted the google toolbar).

Any advice would be gratefully recieved, I know this is a minor problem but its bugging me! Thanks

I dont have the computer here and its got different options than mine, I think its standard buttons, address bar and orange, the info is there but just all on one line so its not very user friendly, yet on anything other than the home page they are all separated
