Top 3 Free Email Provider Recommendations

    windows 7---64 bit O.S.---1.9 Ghz processor------bunch of problems with current(yahoo)----too many to get into, just want another----recommendations?? thx---Steve

    I use gmail.com, outlook.com and aol.com. The aol is my very first account I ever had. I never got rid of it and use for online stuff.

    I had a yahoo account...for about a year. It was awful. They are like a spam magnet. When I had it, the spam filter was terrible.

    I would highly suggest you create at least 2 new accounts regardless of who you use. One that you give to only friends and family, and one (or more) that you use for online purposes.

    It was horrendous. It was so bad that I actually wondered if there wasn't some mutual financially based arrangement...

    I have not had a single issue with Outlook Mail (outlook.com).

    I've very few problems with spam in Yahoo, by usage stats, Outlook.com receives a much higher % of spam/valid mail for me. Gmail was awful in the early years, much improved since. GMX.com is also fine ime.

    Much will depend on whether one or more of your contacts have been compromised or not.

    Hi

    Outlook email is great I use this daily but I also use Inbox Gmail which will likely become the norm of Gmail at some point but its a offshoot project that works great and worth a look, both of these email services can be added easily to a desktop email application like Outlook, Thunderbird etc
