Torrent Question

I’ve downloaded a file which is a torrent.
It’s main file is an ISO

so I’ve downloaded this torrent but now what ??

how do I get it to become an ISO

 

You open the torrent file in a bittorrent client. You will then download it from a cloud of people who have the ISO and others also downloading it. Also, people will be downloading it from you simultaneously.

If the main file extention is .iso your good.

Install the .iso using related software

 

Hi,
I downloaded a file.
I then installed the torrent software.
Opening the software I then selected the file and could see it downloading.
I received a message saying download complete.
I went to the folder where the file was downloaded to but the file didn’t have the iso extension like I was expecting.
So now this is where I’m not sure what to do.

 

What is the file extension?

Ive now started over again.
I will reply once done.

This time i used Bittorrent software to download.
From the site where the file was i downloaded a torrent zip file>
I extracted that and added it to the download in Bittorrent software.

I have downloaded it now to a new folder so will advise once done.

Finished but this time it now shows .iso so all good.

Strange as after i mount it using daemon tools & try to install it i see a message saying unexpected error quitting ?

 

Is it still active in your BitTorrent client?

 

I dont understand the above BUT

I restarted the pc & logged in as Admin.
I was then able to mount the ISO & install it no problem.
I then had to copy a file to a folder.

When i then started the pc & logged in as me & run the software i was told it could a RunDll file was missing ????
Putting this Dll file oin the same folder then didnt show me that message again BUT i then see the same message now as in the begining Unexpected Error Quitting
