    Hey guys,

I'm looking to put my music collection onto a flashdrive to have it hooked up to my pioneer head unit it the car. I bought a Toshiba USB, but i'm having trouble transferring the files.

It seems like after 23.3G the folders and files become "scrambled" - with file names a mixture of gibberish characters, and more irritatingly they're undeletable, with the only solution being a quick formatting.

Any ideas what the issue is here? I've formatted it to NFST, but the car doesn't recognise, so it has to be FAT32

Hello and welcome to MG.. if you are trying to transfer the whole 23.3 gig at once this could be why the problem occurs. Try transfering a bit at a time like 2 or 3 gig and see if that fixes it. The files I take are MP3's so your player ought to recognise them in your car. Fell free to post back with any developements. Good Luck.
