Toshiba DVD/CD Rom SD-R2212

    I have a hp pavilion ze4145 with a Toshiba DVD/CD Rom model # SD-R2212 but according to my device manager it says I am missing a driver # 5.1.2535.o? The dvd/cd acts like it wants to work, spins for a sec and then dies! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I also do not have my original restore disk!

    As simple as it sounds, go to Windows Update using Internet Explorer. If the regular critical updates don't take care of it, check under Hardware Updates and Software Updates.
