    So hey :)
    Thanks in advance..
Went to turn on my laptop this morning, L670 Toshiba, and i got the black screen with blinking cursor.
    What i did do..
I pulled the hard drive, replaced it.
    I pulled and replaced ram.
I even have a same laptop, put my HD in it and it worked fine (minus drivers)
So, with this said, I know its the hard drive, but how can I repair it. I don't have a win7 disk, all repair stuff is on HD :p
    I'm thinking bootable usb?
    any help/ good news ? :D
    tyty :)

Hard disk would make sense. What make model disk is it? You may be able to download the relevant diagnostic tool and repair the MBR.

Do you have a desktop or drive Caddy to hook the disk up as a secondary disk if you need to?

Ok, tried to throw a bootable CD in, even changed the boot order to cd/dvd, still failed. Everything powers on normal with no HDD present. The bootable cd was MiniTool Partition Wizard 7.0. claims it can repair the MBR and other stuff as well. Anyways nothing works while HDD is present, and all is well with it out, how frustrating!

Try with HD in and Minitool in place and hit F12 during the Toshiba screen to select CD as the boot device from the one time boot menu.

Did you burn Minitool as an image/iso file to ensure it is bootable? Does Minitool boot without the HD present?

I did burn Minitool from an iso, and yes it does boot minitool when HD is not present. Also when the HD IS present, it takes almost a minute for the toshiba screen to appear, the blinks off almost immediately. When the HD is Not present, it appears normally after telling me no hdd is present. Very frustrating, hope this all makes sence.
    ty again :)
