toshiba p300 x3100 driver update

hiya i have started playing games on my laptop online sometimes but find my laptop struggles a bit with only 1 or 2 maps on call of duty ehhm cant remember what ones.
It plays good just some maps it stutters at certain parts of the map a guy i was playing with said to try to update video driver but toshiba site does not have my equium p300-t16 in there driver download list
in device manager only thing i can find is =
intel mobile 965 chipset driver is = 8.15.10.1930 date 23/09/2009(is this the video card? google tells me its a x3100 ?)
as you might guess from reading this am used to consoles but love the speed and controls playing online with pc i find xbox games play slow now :confused or maybe its just me got used to it now

Go to this site, plug in your operating system version and architecture (32- or 64-bit), choose 'Display Driver' from the 'Driver Type' list, then click 'Search'.

You should then be presented with a list of the Intel x3100 drivers for your machine - grab the newest version.

Try the Intel INF Update Utility.

And, sometimes older driver versions are useful for troubleshooting.

i have just checked there and their newest driver is 2 month older than the one i use hows that ? emm
well my uncle set this up for me hes a coder im thinking he moded the driver for me or somthing ??????
i would ask him but hes away for a while

Of course, the video might not be the problem if your symptoms only present while playing online games. You might look at troubleshooting your network connection(s), check your antivirus/firewall settings, plug your specs into http://www.crucial.com/ and see if you can do a cheap memory upgrade, make sure the machine is clean, etc.

Tell the guy you were playing with you tried to update the driver - maybe he's got other suggestions.
