For the past week since my computer shut off improperly, it hasn't worked properly. I opened up the compartments on the opposite end, and one of the memory sticks (i think?) and one had popped loose so I latched it back in and turned it on. Now all it does is turn on but stays on the red toshiba logo and beeps periodically.. Does anyone have any idea on what the problem is and hopefully a cheap fix?

That's a memory error. Fiddle with the memory by trying to boot with one stick, then the other. It's not optimal to run like that but works for trouble shooting. If it won't start with one memory stick, replace it.
