hi again, not been on for a while as ive had no problems,
    till recently
its been getting worse and worse
    now its becoming unbearable
    slow startup
    slow program access
    slow internet
ie stutting down regular (3+ times a day)
    spybot shutdown
    mcafee shutdown
if i run spybot it will shut down my pc about 90% of the way thru
my mcafee hasnt completed a full scan in a long time, its now giving warning messages to the effect
when i manually try to run a complete scan it gets mid way thru and the pc will restart
ive been on here and started this
    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407
    and into this
    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=106650
got most of the way thru it before coming up to a few problems
dklite wouldnt install properley so i tried smart defrag which was successful
ive ran a defrag now and im in the process of a fast optimize of c:
next step is to run a spybot which i cannot do
once ive done this section i will carry on with the read and run me page
i did start running panda active scan online a few days ago which caused the pc to shut down (same as mcafee and spybot)
any ideas before i start hitting brick walls would be much appreciated
    thanx
    carl

latest update, rootrepeal has frozen, not done anything for about an hour and a half, ive added all the logs i have obtained upto now
im wondering if anyones read this as its been 9 hours since i posted it and no reply
then i read the post about bumping and im assuming ive been dropped down for bumping?
i wasnt bumping i was just adding info which i thought might help,
anyway, ive added the logs i have upto now, i cant go any further until root repeal either magically starts up again or i choose to quit it for the third time
    thanx

Your problems do not appear to be from malware since your logs are all clean. I will move this thread to the Software Forum where someone can help you debug the crashes.

I do suggest that you uninstall Spyware Doctor especially if it is the free version. It is of no use to you and will only slow your PC down more.

And one main reason for you PC being slow is lack of memory. Your log shows the below:
    Code:
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 1.00 GB
    Total Physical Memory 0.99 GB
    Available Physical Memory 172 MB
I suggest no less than 2 GB of memory for use with Vista. As you can see you available memory is also getting low which will tend to slow things down especially during bootup.

McAfee is most likely eating up a lot of your resources.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    5. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    6. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    7. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

i found the post for BSOD and started wirking thru that
    i got as far as
Enter in this path and click OK. Now, go to File, Save Workspace so that your symbols path is saved for future use. Now what you want to do is locate your memory dumps. They are usually located in %systemroot%/minidump (in my case C:/windows/minidump).
found the files, 3 of them, when i tried to open them it said i dont have permission, contact administrator!!!
    :(
    can anyone help please?

    I don't do minidumps but I had a look.
    First one:
    DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT
    PROCESS_NAME: svchost.exe

    Second one:
    DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT
    PROCESS_NAME: System

Third one: same items as the second.

Get to the Toshiba site and look for drivers. Something in Vista needs a better driver.
