I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and and to the left of the keyboard there are some hot keys, two of which are programmable and the others do functions such as play/pause/stop/forward/back. However the .exe responsible for making sure these buttons work doesn't start sometimes.
I have found the .exe, which is called "TFncKy.exe" located in: "C:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\TOSHIBA Controls" that apparently makes it work. (when I run the program I can use my buttons fine.)
So, the question is, how can I fix this issue for good?
Thanks in advance for your help. :D

Find the file TFncKY.exe and copy it over to the startup folder under you username C:\Documents and Settings\user\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
that will mean the exe will start when windows loads so the hot keys should work for you.
If more than one person uses the computer and you wish to make the hotkeys available to everyone, then instead of putting the exe in the user location, replace that with all users.
