I have a wireless Internet connection from SIRIS, and I am behind atleast one hardware based firewall that I am not allowed to, or can figure out how to configure. I may be behind another one at the their tower, but I don't know that for a fact. Whenever I attempt to a P2P network the connection is either refused, or it tries to connect over and over.

Are the firewalls the problem, or is something else the matter?

SIRIS probably blocks the connection to any p2p network so the courts don't ask for there user info. there just staying out of the RIAA's way and playing it safe. thats just a thought not a fact. someone else help me out with this.
