    Hello!
I recently bought new laptop Acer Aspire ES1-711G and it came with some Linux and I installed Windows 8.1 on it. Laptop came with a cd with drivers for Windows 8.1 and they installed normally and everything worked normal. And then I upgraded to Windows 10 and downloaded all the drivers for laptop from Acer website and i saw that there is a BIOS update so I downloaded it too. After I installed all the drivers touchpad didn't work. So I updated BIOS and I saw an option Touchpad: Basic/Advanced and it was on advanced, so i swithed it to basic and touchpad worked but scrool and that stuff didn't so I tought that it was something with W10 and I did clean install of W8.1. Installed the drivers from CD, but touchpad still doesn't work in advanced, so I can't use scroll and zoom...

Anybody knows what it might be? And sorry for my bad english I'm from Croatia:)

Go into device manager and look for any devices with an"!" next to them. If there are none find the touch pad and let us know the make/model and current driver version. If you need any help finding this information let us know

I put in your model and got a page of 8.1 drivers
    http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/drivers
    It is an ELANTECH touchpad.
    Code:

Sorry, that's the best I can do. That is the driver Acer supplies for your model and your operating system.

The fact that you updated from linux to 8.1 to Windows 10 and then also updated the BIOS changed something.
