Touchpad Randomly Slows Down For A Few Seconds

Hi! I'm having issues with my ASUS VivoBook 15.
I bought it less than 2 weeks ago, and since the first day the touchpad suddenly slows down or completely stops for around 10-15 seconds, and then it comes back. I tried updating all the drivers I saw on the ASUS website, upgraded to Win 11, but nothing worked. This problem doesn't happen if I'm using a mouse.

Is there anything else I can try or should I contact the store I bought it from?

 

If the store is in the local area, I would not even bother "contacting" them. I would take it back. It is a lot harder for them to say, "it's not our problem" when the customer is standing in their face!

Make sure you tell them you tried a mouse and it works fine with the mouse.
