Hi guys. I use TEP to wipe all garbage from the PC and It works great.
There is one problem that has just recently showed up.
When I run TEP, it gets to recently opened programs and gives the following message 'cannot delete desktop - directory may be corrupt'.
I have run every anti-virus program in the universe and the PC is clean as a whistle. I ran reg clean and a plethora of other clean up programs - even searched the registry manually for days and I still can't find out why TEP would suddenly have a command to attempt to wipe the desktop. It does not of course and finishes normally. Why would TEP suddenly have this command embeded in the clean up script ???
    Ideas would be graeatly appreciated.
I have NOT uninstalled TEP to reinstal it yet but that may be my only option:(

FLASH !!!. I just discovered it's NOT Tracks Eraser doing it at all - its the recycle bin itself. All of a sudden, the desktop has become part of the recycle bin [??????]. The recycle bin itself is empty but the tool bar up top allows me to move up to the desktop which is attached to the recycle bin somehow.
I have searched the registry but cannot find how in hell the desk top has become attached to the recycle bin tree of erasures. How do I get rid of this branch ?????
