tranfering files from one server to another

i just finished up my semester at school and i got a bunch of files and webpages on the schools server that i want to transfer to a free web server before the school gets rid of everything on thier server. my problem is i have no idea how to go about doing this, who offers reliable (preferably free) wed server that i can do this on?? once i find it how do i go about transfering the files???

There is No real transfer under this condition.

Download your site to your computer and upload it from your computer to the New Server.

If you want to the download it as a coherent site you can use this free program.

For a free website, most ISPs give you a free webspace... check your provider

 

if you want, you can send them to me and i'll put them on my webspace for as long as you need, i only have about 20 megs free though.
