You can always email it to yourself if it is not too big. For larger files I believe I read a thread somewhere here that listed a site where you could up load up to a gig in size and then download it from somewhere else (but if you are on dial up.............)

Honestly you might want to just invest in a network router and a couple lan cards or get yourself a burner. I think that either way it is close to the same price but with the LAN you could at least play multi player games and the burner you can backup you comp, make music/photo cds, etc.

hope it helps and good luck.

If they're on dial up they wont be able to have a LAN. But I would invest in a cd burner like he said, or if the files aren't large you could email them to yourself like said. Office max gives a way free burners every now and then with rebates.

Yes, I guess for the LAN I should have mentioned that the 2 computers kind of have to be near each other! (like same room/house type of thing). Unless you have unlimited access to miles of cable:) (would that even work? might need a periodic relay or something?)
