Transfer AOL Email files?

Been suggested I post here---sorry if repeated

No response from AOL so may I ask here?
An ancient W98 Ltop, with failed internet access facilities holds AOL email history.
Personal Filing Cabinet allows viewing on the old Ltop
Can this be transferred to a new Ltop having some new AOL mail history already?

I think?? AOL help pages suggest this is not posible??

If not, will the PF Cabinet or another folder, allow critical mail to be extracted as Word/Wordpad readable files, or whatever, and archived?

Two Ltops, as you may guess, just cannoteasily be carried around

See this thread of yours....try and be patient and wait for replies to filter in. Starting a new thread wont be beneficial, it would no doubt cause confusion if you have responses coming in from two seperate threads about the same issue and in any case I should think a moderator will delete your duplicate post as soon as it is seen for the above reasons i described.

If you go into "user CP" (user control panel) >> see top left of page you will find there a list of your subscribed threads so that you can keep track of what's happening where you have posted or subscribed to.
